filmul Outside Noise (regie: Ted Fendt) – o oră și un minut de frumusețe autentică; este minimalist, delicat, granulat & foarte luminos (este scăldat în lumină naturală); explorează: importanța prieteniei feminine.

Prietenie. Tinerețe. Tranziție. Viitor incert.

Daniela, Mia & Natascha se vizitează, se plimbă, contemplă & discută – își caută sens.

Back in Vienna. I couldn’t sleep again, or fall asleep, or sleep long enough, and not at all as soon as it was light out again. Summer is over, the nights are getting longer, the moon is low, and I feel like a witch when I walk down the street. I wanted to leave the city again.

Se discută light despre: cărți (Ingeborg Bachmann, Sasha Sokolov ori cărțile de dezvoltare personală), insomnii, traumă, joburi, muzee (Feelings are shown so seldom in museums. I wondered why.) & ritualuri funerare.

... the middle phase is very much marked by uncertainty. That people no longer know where they belong or where they are. You have to classify things again. Incorporation would be... the funeral meal or eating together... and connecting to life again.

I like that. I think I’m still in a liminal phase.

Am adorat variațiile de lumină, modul în care lumina mângâie interioarele, verdele moale al naturii, cadrele cu perna roz (care își reface încet-încet forma) & patul răvășit, plimbările în natură & mini-conversațiile lor, spațiile urbane ori cadrele în care personajele citesc și răsfoiesc cărți.

Îl foarte recomand! Are un pic din Angela Schanelec, Éric Rohmer ori Hong Sang-soo.

Outside Noise este la rândul lui o privire caldă și afectuoasă în lumea unor persoane care nu știu încotro merg, care n-au cuvinte mari la purtător decât dacă-s parafraze, care nu fac mare lucru în afară de-a exista – iar asta este minunat. – Flavia Dima, pentru acoperisuldesticla.ro

Bong-Ra mixes Doom Metal, Free-Jazz and Electronics into a completely new unique crossover, with this release being heavily inspired by the teachings of the Stoics. The album Meditations is a hommage to Marcus Aurelius’ masterpiece bearing the same name.

Nope, de Jordan Peele – un amestec de elemente horror, science fiction & neo-western: un obiect zburător (creatură vie) bântuie cerul. Este dens, spectaculos & încărcat de sens – reflectă adânc asupra spectacolului (impactul lui) & se joacă cu așteptările noastre.

De văzut în cinema (design-ul sunetului este incredibil).

Seriously can't wrap my head around what these ppl want from literature... books where every character behaves perfectly & espouses only the most morally pure views, like... how? What would even... happen in the story? What would there be to explore? Utterly dull and pointless!!

Ella scrie despre: sex, relații, dorință feminină, pubertate, menstruație, câini, frică ori vinovăție – I measure threat, which is a dull ache/ when I am out of the house/ and a freezing immersion at night.

Iubesc umorul & curajul ei, poemele Fucking in Cornwall + Becoming Moss & secțiunea din inima volumului: Passivity, Electricity, Acclivity (un eseu/poem fragmentat).

Să o citiți, este genială.
